Position Summary
Seeking a proactive, highly motivated and strong financially-minded Manager/Sr Manager to join Activision’s Americas Commercial Finance team.  This position reports to the Director – Americas FP&A and Global Supply Chain Finance with responsibility for critical Supply Chain Finance related areas such as  COGS forecasting, Inventory tracking, Inventory Reserve management, New Product launch cost analysis, Savings initiatives, Budgeting and Supply Chain cost optimization, Catalog pricing analysis and other Ad hoc analysis/Special projects. This role will require strong collaboration with Business Unit/Franchise, Supply Chain and the Americas Sales teams with regular opportunity to influence key Senior Leadership decisions across each of these functions.
 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:    

 

  • COGS Forecasting
    • Manage COGs forecasting process (quarterly), collaborating with Regional Forecasters,  BU Finance and Global Supply Chain leaders
    • Deliver accurate forecast, provide updates of changes to outlook and detailed attribution of actuals variance to forecast
  • Cash Forecasting
    • Provide accurate forecast of Inventory capital spends as a key input into Corporate Cash Forecast
    • Provide detailed attribution of variances to forecast
  • Inventory Tracking           
    • Maintain key inventory tracking reports. Provide timely and accurate updates. Leverage understanding of business, inventory management decisions and production plan to explain movements
  • Inventory Reserves
    • Manage Inventory reserve models. Lead regional quarterly reviews with Senior Finance leadership (CFO., Chief Accounting Office, etc)
  • New Product Cost Analysis and Savings Initiatives
    • Working in close collaboration with BU new product teams, develop cost estimates of new products as important input into new initiative economics for Greenlights and Franchise plans
    • Lead cost savings efforts on new product initiatives
  • Budgeting
    • Plan, track. and optimize operating budgets for Supply Chain.
    • Provide detailed attribution of variances to plan
  • Catalog Sales Pricing and Analysis
    • Carryout pricing analysis as needed to provide recommendations to Sales leaders
  • Ad Hoc Financial Analysis
 
 
Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor degree; MBA and/or CPA a plus
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Finance, Sales Finance, Forecasting and/or FP&A roles   
 
Desired Skills:

 

  • Strong leadership; ability to partner with and influence various functional leaders across an organization
  • Prior Forecast Management experience
  • Prior Supply Chain Finance experience
