Beenox is a video game development studio created in 2000. Located in beautiful Quebec City, Canada, Beenox is a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Publishing Inc., one of the world’s top game developers.

The studio is proud to contribute to the development of the Call of Duty video game franchise. Beenox has also contributed to the resounding success of the Skylanders, Spider-Man, and Guitar Hero franchises.

Main Tasks
  • Collaborate in production pipeline creation
  • Create character rigs while respecting the project constraints
  • Be responsible for skinning on multiple characters and assets
  • Find solutions to technical problems related to animation and other departments
  • Modify and adapt existing production tools with Python
  • Follow-up on performance and memory related to animations


  • A good knowledge of Maya, Motion Builder and/or 3D StudioMax
  • A knowledge of programming (Python, MelScript, C#, C++ or others)
  • A knowledge of the 3D-related mathematics (matrix, vectors, etc.) is considered a plus
  • Ease at communicating and being part of a team
  • Passion for video games
  • Excellent knowledge of anatomy
  • 2 years of experience in the video game industry or equivalent
