Your Mission
As a Manager, 1:1 Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and supporting the 1:1 Marketing team's consumer acquisition, engagement and retention initiatives for Activision's portfolios of titles. You’ll do so while continuing to evolve our approach to one-to-one engagement at scale, helping to position the 1:1 team as data-driven marketing leaders in the business.
 
This role includes but is not limited to the following tasks/duties:
  • Design and oversee 1:1 player messaging across 1:1 Marketing channels, including email, mobile app messaging and in-game communications.
  • Work with marketing and analytics peers to define key objectives, develop marketing strategy, and lead campaign development.
  • Work closely with game development studio to sell the vision and value of in-game marketing and gain alignment on the defined marketing strategy.
  • Manage and work with vendors to develop content for 1:1 marketing and QA content prior to pushing campaigns into production.
  • Manage and maintain content rules that drive personalization of our game marketing, monitor campaign performance on an on-going basis and optimize rules to maximize effectiveness.
  • Manage and maintain on-going communication calendar, adapting content to evolving business needs.
  • Communicate effectively to internal stakeholders regarding 1:1 Marketing campaigns and results.
  • Support 1:1 Marketing team in the creative development and support of other outbound CRM campaigns as needed.
Player Profile
  • Strong educational background
  • 5+ years of Digital marketing experience in entertainment or related fields with a focus on data-driven, personalized marketing content.
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing at scale: across multiple brands or across a broad functional scope with millions of customers/subscribers.  Product marketing experience of a mobile app or mobile web experience is a plus.
  • Experience with managing personalization and targeting of content at scale.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to be self-directed and work independently, and demonstrated ability overcoming obstacles to deliver on deadline a must.
  • Interest in measurement and aptitude with numbers is required.
  • Strong background in the digital asset production process is a plus.
  • An ability to thrive in fast-paced environment 
  • Experience in start-up or new product development environments is a plus.
  • Experience using JIRA or other ticketing system is a plus.
  • Gaming experience a plus but not required.  However, a strong willingness to learn our products (and therefore our customers) is required.
