Job Title:     Manager Market Operations (Commercial Operations) Middle – East & Africa

Reporting To:     Commercial Director Middle East & Africa

Your Mission

As part of the territory commercial team, the Commercial Ops manager, plays a crucial role in supporting Director’ and team’s strategies definition and execution thru daily contact with external partners, internal stakeholders (COD BU, FP&A, PR) and first parties.

Interpret & operationalize Commercial plans for execution 

Support Commercial leadership with needed information and insights 

Facilitate decision making, make recommendations and trade-offs where appropriate

Lead cross-group collaboration and oversee Brand/PR/Media plans and execution, assuring proper integration with Commercial strategy

Drive and manage trade marketing strategy (physical and digital) and execution, including support to sales promotions and trade events

Conduct First and Third Parties relationships to assure best in class cross promotions and collaborations

Key duties/tasks:

Build & maintain effective relationships with internal and external contacts & manage multiple expectations

Drive local partnerships with key businesses in the region focusing on esports, consumer events, mobile network partners, social media companies and 1st party. 

Manage the Middle East retail, digital and online landscape, following the business trends of the fast-paced video game industry, the digital landscape and the first and third parties. 

Use the business intelligence reports, analysis, market place trends and consumer insights to provide the commercial team with business planning

Produce “selling stories” (Who/Where/How/Why) for both customers as for the sales team – create a closer understanding of target consumers

Actively collaborate to the setting and preparation of Senior Executive presentations

Track all promotional activities and provide insights for optimization

Manage and track trade related VSM budget and raise relevant PO

Plan and execute trade shows, consumer and partner events

Player Profile

University degree in Marketing, business administration or related studies

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in trade and digital marketing preferably in entertainment products or consumer goods for emerging markets

Experience in video game industry in the Middle East is considered a strong asset

Ability to drive local partnerships with key businesses in the region focusing on esports, consumer events, mobile network partners, social media companies and 1st party. 

Strong knowledge base of the Middle East retail landscape, the new business trends of the fast-paced video game industry, execute plans with the digital, the hardware and the Telecom partners. 

Experience in execution of online, social and trade marketing activities including compliance and category management. 

Analytical skills with proven ability to create a solid action plan thru data driven reports such as consumer engagement, usage, in-game spending, etc

Ability to develop a partnership plan with local and global players and presenting it in business meetings and senior executive reviews

Strong affinity working with Windows office (PowerPoint, Excel) and Microsoft Outlook for organizing a structured way of working.  

Ability and preference for working in a team-oriented environment but able to self-motivate across a broad territory

Fluent in English both written and spoken. Arabic or multiple languages a plus

Frequent travels to the region is required (30%)
