An exciting and rare opportunity to join a highly talented team of developers, working on the biggest games in the world.

Based in the North West of England, we are a small team of highly experienced developers that work with various Activision studios in the US on games such as Destiny and Call of Duty.

We are currently looking for a highly skilled senior engineer with an interest in working on tools/pipelines/low level systems.


  • Assist in and help drive the development of a comprehensive automated testing/build/release system which runs on hundreds of devkits and PCs, and which is pivotal to the development of Call of Duty.
  • Identify and implement high-impact company-wide engine toolchain and pipeline improvements.
  • Actively take responsibility to own and address large blocking issues with critical infrastructure.
  • Author high quality, well designed, reusable code that can be shared across all Call of Duty studios.
  • Communicate and coordinate work with colleagues at Treyarch, Infinity Ward and other Activision studios.


  • 8+ years industry experience, ideally across engine/tools systems.
  • You will be an expert in in C and C++, with strong generalist programming and systems architecture skills. Experience with Python an advantage.
  • Robust software engineering and software architecture principles. Ability to design and implement large scale systems with high quality code, modular design, high performance and minimal complexity.
  • A methodical approach to debugging, practiced over a number of years, and honed to high degree of proficiency.
  • Ability to self-prioritize and execute with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and responsively across studios.
  • Good written communication skills.
