Job Title: Senior Manager, Business Operations & Strategy - Activision Blizzard Media
Reporting To: Vice President, Strategy & Operations
Department: Business Operations & Strategy
Location: San Francisco, CA


Your Mission

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager, Business Operations & Strategy to partner with our President and cross-functional leadership to define, evaluate and influence our largest strategic opportunities to accelerate the growth of the business. You will ensure that our leadership team is balancing the achievement of short-term objectives, while also making the necessary game-changing investments to pursue our lofty aspirations.

Working under the supervision of the Vice President, Strategy & Operations, you will help to define and manage the short and long-term vision, strategy, and goals for advertising at Activision Blizzard Media. Core responsibilities include:
  • Identifying, evaluating and prioritizing game-changing opportunities to supercharge the growth of the business
  • Leading the long-term strategic planning and annual operating planning efforts for the business in conjunction Finance, advertising leadership and with our partners across King and Activision Blizzard
  • Driving incubation efforts for the business for new functions, such as driving inventory supply expansion efforts across Activision Blizzard 
  • Defining, tracking and communicating business success across leadership and the broader advertising team
  • Preparing key updates and presentations to King and Activision Blizzard executive leadership
  • Understanding key industry trends and competitive landscape, and assessing inorganic opportunities that could accelerate growth for the business
  • Leading ad-hoc projects across the advertising business in support of our strategic ambitions

Player Profile
  • BA/BS from a top-tier university, MBA a plus
  • 5+ years of work experience in Strategy Consulting or Investment Banking, demonstrating 1 or 2 promotion cycles
  • Knowledge or passion for one or more of the following sectors: gaming, mobile advertising, advertising technology;
  • Capacity for highly-structured problem solving, backed by rigorous qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Experience leading teams and building team capabilities
  • Experience managing complex strategic and operational initiatives in dynamic environments with high role ambiguity
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to prepare clear and concise executive-ready documents
  • Exceptional collaborator with strong interpersonal skills to work with a different variety of roles, and executive presence to manage senior stakeholders
