Your Mission

This role includes but is not limited to the following tasks/duties*:
  • Develop and manage the life cycle activation, consumer acquisition and conversion to purchase strategies for our retail partners linking with key franchise objectives
  • Drive the evolution of our consumer engagement & acquisition strategies through our retail partners and their various media & marketing vehicles
  • Communicate & execute planned strategies through internal & external evangelism, as well as flawless execution of assets & communication    
  • Become a champion across our key Retail Partners, presenting audience insight, analysis of customer data and taking ownership of our franchise stores
  • Develop flagship assets to aid consumer education & acquisition via core retail channels such as Social, Mobile & Catalogues
  • Track Retail activity highlighting successes and presenting plans to the business across all key beats and events
  • Shared management of the Trade budget in real-time, performing quarterly forecasts and scenario analysis
  • Aid in preparation for pivotal industry events and retailer meetings
  • Continue to develop through training and the annual personal development process

Position Duties

Developing Trade Marketing & Media Strategy
  • Develop and execute successful retail activities that support our franchise lifecycle plans
  • Drive business innovation in how we evolve in an ever changing media landscape
  • Facilitate the design and production of effective customer POS
  • Leverage key partner relationships into added value at retail
Communicating & Executing Trade Marketing Strategy
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Brand and Retail to evangelise trade strategies and key tactics
  • Liaison with PR, Creative Services, & Agencies to create and execute assets across core retail channels including in-store, mobile & social
Analysis & Strategic Recommendations
  • Partner with Retail to understand our customer/audience insights, build strategic plans and present recommendations to the business
  • Support the building of best practise activity for the UK in regard to different retail execution opportunities.
Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Assist in tracking VS&M spend and reporting against financial objectives
  • Conduct pre-quarter and year end close reviews with Finance to ensure expenditure it accurately tracked
Retailer/Industry Events
  • Support in briefing the Sales team with key trade marketing activity for each launch
  • Support/Manage the building of industry/retailer events and product launches

Player Profile
  • Experience in process thinking and driving projects from conceptual to execution
  • Exposure to media planning & strategies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal & presenting skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Should be able to handle various pressure situations and workload through proper work balance, prioritisation and delegation
  • ‘Have done, can do, will do’ approach
  • Positive attitude and creative approach
  • Ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels within Activision Blizzard
  • Pragmatic thinker, not afraid to work outside the box
  • Drive for results

Your Platform

Based in Ditton Park, our Campus houses a number of great amenities as well as transport links. The Parkland settings offer; tennis courts, an onsite gym, canteens and cafes etc. It is conveniently close to Junction 5 of the M4 giving a direct links to central London, the M25 and Heathrow airport. Free shuttle buses also run from both Slough and Datchet train stations.
